THE FLAME - YOUR STEADY SELF
Always there. Never lost. Illuminating what we choose to honor.

CLARITY · STEADINESS · PRESENCE · GRATITUDE
THE LANTERN FRAMEWORK
Think of yourself
as a lantern.
Inside is a flame — your steady, regulated self. Around it are four sides: the roles, beliefs, and ways of being you've learned to carry.
The Lantern Method helps you see those sides clearly — and find your way back to the flame.
SIDE 01
What you carry
The roles, reactions, and ways of being you've learned to carry — often without realising it
SIDE 02
Where it came from
Understanding where these patterns first formed and meeting them with compassion instead of judgment
SIDE 04
The parts of you that feel most true — what brings you clarity, steadiness, and lightness
What you choose to illuminate
The identities you've taken on and the distance between who you are and who you've been performing as
What you've become
SIDE 03
In fast-moving worlds, we learn
to leave ourselves behind.
Not all at once.
Quietly. Gradually.
Through the ways we've learned
to keep going.
The Lantern Method creates space
to return to your own light.
RETURNING
TO YOURSELF
You’ve spent so much time carrying what was needed,
you’ve lost touch with yourself along the way.
You want to deepen the connection with who you are —
beneath the roles, expectations, and what you've learned to carry.
You feel disconnected from yourself,
and are looking for ways to come back.
A space to slow down, notice what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with your inner light.
For those at the edge
of inquiry —
Curious enough
to look inward
WHO IS THIS FOR

ABOUT POONAM
CLINICIAN · LEADER · MOTHER
Poonam Patel
Hi, I’m Poonam. I’m a nurse practitioner turned healthcare executive — and a South Asian–born American woman.
Over the last twenty years, I've cared for children and families as a Nurse Practitioner before stepping into executive leadership.
Beyond my professional roles, I continue to navigate the roles many women know well: daughter, partner, mother, caregiver.
Somewhere between caring for others, building a career, raising a family, and learning how to keep going, I began to lose myself.
The Lantern Method grew from that experience — and from the realization that many of us learn how to function long before we learn how to stay connected to ourselves.

Session 01
Seeing what
you carry
Begin by noticing the roles,
reactions, and ways of being
you've learned along the way..
Session 03
Creating space from
what you carry
Learn to observe what you
carry without becoming
consumed by it.
Session 02
Understanding
where it came from
Explore how these patterns
first formed — and meet them
with compassion instead
of judgment.
Session 04
Choose what
to illuminate
Reconnect with what feels
most true — and move forward
with greater clarity and intention.

WHAT THIS IS NOT
A different

inward work.

It is a guided reflective experience grounded in
nervous system awareness, emotional honesty, and
curiosity to go inward.

Your light is still there.
Let's find our way back to it.
